United in U.S. Natural Gas And Oil

The American Petroleum Institute (API) released the following statement on the Oct. 22 presidential debate from API’s president and CEO, Mike Sommers.

“Democrats, Republicans and Independents know that the U.S. natural gas and oil industry delivers affordable and reliable energy to American families and businesses and all over the world. We are proud of the grit, innovation and progress we’ve made so that Americans no longer have to choose between environmental progress and access to affordable, reliable and cleaner energy. And we aren’t going anywhere.”

API represents all segments of America’s oil and natural gas industry. Its more than 600 members produce, process, and distribute most of the nation’s energy. The industry supports more than 10 million U.S. jobs and is backed by a growing grassroots movement of millions of Americans. API was formed in 1919 as a standards-setting organization. In its first 100 years, API has developed more than 700 standards to enhance operational and environmental safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Every fall we always receive a large request for tank sets and service on appliances that haven’t been used since last spring. We only have so many service techs so we may be booked out several weeks. We have many heating companies that we can refer you to if you can’t wait. Please ask Susan or David for the names and numbers of these companies if you require quicker service. I hope all you have a warm and healthy Thanksgiving with your families. Thank you for your business!

Cordially,
John Buller and Sons
